Myranda Harnage - Sr. Graphic Designer
Did you know...
Out of everyone in existence, Myranda would chose to spend the day with Salvador Dali.
If you could have a company as a client who would it be and why?
No one specific, I would love to do a business identity for either a tattoo parlor or a goth club/bar.
What is your favorite color and why?
My favorite color has always been black. I love wearing it and using it in design. It's a very friendly color because any and every other color goes with it. Black is incredibly versatile; it can either make a bold statement or it can sit back and be neutral and allow other colors to stand out.
What is your favorite musical genre and why?
Metal. I'm a huge metal fan but I also have a softer side at times. I love the lyrical content and just enjoy the passion and energy that metal musicians exert during concerts and the energy from the crowds is unbelievable. And it is also because of the metal culture that I met and fell in love with my wonderful metal-head fiance!
What is your favorite animal and why?
I love so many animals! My favorite is a stegosaurus but in realistic terms, any and all puppies!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Lobster ravioli from Ashville, mussels from Brussels, cheddar bay biscuits from Red Lobster and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for dessert. It wouldn't be a long life, but it would be delicious!
Who is your secret celebrity crush?
I would marry Alan Tudyk in a heartbeat. It's not really a secret… He's Wash, Steve the Pirate and Alpha. Marry me now, we can play dinosaurs for the rest of eternity. Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
You can choose one super power. What is it and why?
Something evil… Or maybe just wolverine minus the metal stuff… young forever, can't die. Yeah, I'll take the vampire super power now.
What is your biggest pet peeve and why?
I cannot stand when people don't understand how to chew with their mouths closed. That is by far the most disgusting noise ever.
If you had a dollar for every time someone said ________ to you, you'd be a millionaire.
I'm close to 6ft tall so stuff like… "do you play basketball," "wow, you're tall," and the most awkward "you should model," which, ironically enough, if I had a dollar for everytime someone said I should model, I'd have more money than a model.
What are you most proud of?
Leaving Memphis. Also, and more importantly, I finally am moving in the right direction. I have just begun my journey of having a career and doing what I love. I was so afraid of taking the uncertain path in college by doing what I wanted to do rather than what would make me money. But I could not be more proud of myself for sticking with it and working through the tough times. It was all worth it.
