About Internship:
TriLeaf Designs Web Programmer Intern will work directly with TriLeaf's Owner Rachel Boone while collaborating with designers and other programmers. The Programmer will be expected to make changes to current sites and be able to code complete sites from scratch using designs provided by the graphic designers. While working on projects, programmers will be required to complete research and learn new techniques. With the guidance of Ms. Boone the programmer will start off helping with projects, updating TriLeaf Designs, Liam the Leafman and MyGreenSTL websites, and move to completing whole sites on their own. During the process the Web Programming Intern will be taught how graphic design relates to the web.
Requirements:
Student or recent graduate is preferred, but will make an exception for a great resume and portfolio. Programmer must be efficient in CSS and HTML and be able to code without any assistance of external programs like Dreamweaver. Programmer must be a self-starter, hard worker, team player, focused, good communicator, organized, able to handle multiple projects at once, and be highly motivated. TriLeaf is a quickly growing company that is consistently working. There will be no down time and the desired intern must be someone who likes to get things done. Knowledge in web optimization, content management, JavaScript and PHP is a plus but not necessary. Must present a resume and an example of a site they coded themselves. This site does not need to be a working site and can be a school project. Will be looking more for knowledge, potential of work and work ethic over a perfect programming portfolio. Must have a PC or Mac laptop.
