Learn How To Grow Your Business Online – October 7, 2010!

Join 100 of your business and marketing peers at the second annual Fall 2010 Market Saint Louis Internet Marketing Conference. Each year we spotlight the industry’s best speakers on various topics such as Search Engine Optimization, Social Media and Using Video for More Sales. The purpose of the conference is to help Saint Louis business owners learn how they can get the most out of their online presence (and make more money doing so!)

The Fall 2010 conference will help you understand:
- How to get visitors to your website, understanding those visitors, and how to get more referrals.
- How to integrate video on your website.
- What to look for in a web designer and SEO.
- What SEO is and how to get your business to the top of internet search sites like Google, Yahoo! and Bing.
- How to utilize social media such as Twitter and Facebook to keep those customers connected and coming back.

This conference is focused on business owners in the Midwest and is held in Saint Louis, Missouri. Only 100 tickets are available.
Many business owners don’t have a ton of time to learn in-depth how to market their website online, so we strive to make the information at this event easy to digest – at any level.

The event will have two learning tracks – one for beginners and one for the more advanced crew. Pick which one is best for you and come away with some awesome tips and tricks from industry experts!

The conference will be on October 7, 2010 at the Hotel Lumiere in downtown Saint Louis Missouri!

Only 100 tickets will be sold. This event will sell out.

Tickets are $179, but you can get $50 off the registration price by using the promo code TRILEAF when you checkout.

Inside TriLeaf Designs: Permission to spam?

Sunday, July 11th, 2010

Is it right to send members of a Facebook group newsletters and information?

Working in marketing has brought up several issues that I would like to discuss with you, our followers. If a company, like TriLeaf, chooses to advertise mainly through social media (such as Facebook) is it ok to use those followers and think of them as customers? For example, is it ok to send members of our Green Saint Louis page or our Liam the Leafman page the company newsletter without specifically asking permission? In our particular case, we are not necessarily sending information about our services our trying to sell anything, but is it ok to automatically use our fans as a customer database?
I think most people would say no simply based on past experiences with other companies. Big companies (and sketchy ones) can abuse this and send spam or simply annoy you with frequent emails trying to sell a product or service. However, here at TriLeaf we would never outright try to sell ourselves to you through spam. We just want to spread our messages about being green in a more effective way and maybe occasionally insert a story about our services. What do you, our followers, think about this issue?
