Plants in your office

It is known that plants through the process of photosynthesis transform carbon dioxide into oxygen. Having a single plant in close spaces helps to create and ambient much more relaxed and calm to work, it also brings peace and make us friendlier with our workmates. In my opinion I always liked to have plants at home and also enjoyed their presence at work. It is just pleasing to me having something green in front to look at and feel serene.

How do you feel about having a plant in your office? What type of plants do you like?

Packaging Color

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Color of a package is a very important detail. You want something that catches attention, yet goes with whatever the product is.  It can’t be overzealous over the top because then you are drawing unwanted attention.  You want to do key attributes that will send different impressions. Bright colors on an adult product are less likely to work over a child’s product. Color makes people feel differently, so it is a key element and should be thought heavily on when designing the package.

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

Marketing brochures should make the look and feel of the company. They are that added piece of information that sets you apart from all of those companies that just have business cards and letterhead.  They make you seem more professional as well as give the consumer information such as a website that if given verbally they may forget.   Here are some easy tips to get you thinking about your next brochure.

  1. know what your reader wants
  2. motivate your reader to look inside
  3. contents page (if 8 or more pages)
  4. describe your product
  5. make it a keeper
  6. alter the shape
  7. make it personal
  8. add atomsphere
  9. get selling fast
  10. talk about readers needs
  11. give directions
  12. ask for action

Check back over the next week to see how to implement these tips into your next brochure.
