Use a microwave when- ever you can instead of a conventional oven or stove.
This I think so far is actually the hardest one for me. While sometimes your easy, fast, convenient microwave is the best way to go, their are certain foods that just don’t taste right in the microwave. Anything homemade also tends not to fit into the microwave because of the size differences.
According to Consumer Energy Education Group, your microwave uses less than half the energy of the conventional oven as well as cutting down on cook time by about 1/4th. I guess as along as you can find a way it’s more cost efficient to use your microwave for food if it’s feasible with your food. Share any recipes with us that you love to use in the microwave.
