Clean or replace air filters on your air conditioning unit at least once a month.
Once a month? I was always told every 3 months or so. Makes since though. Dirty filters can restrict air flow, reduce efficiency and cause the evaporator to ice up. Plain and simple, dirty filters reduce the efficiency of the air conditioner wasting more electricity and not to mention your money.
